Elyson, an ongoing Master Planned Community by Brookfield Properties, located in north Katy, off the Grand Parkway, is one of our largest projects to date. At completion, Elyson will have around 6,000 homes on over 3,600 acres of the beautiful Katy Prairie. The META Team has been a vital part of the growth and development of Elyson from the very beginning and has ensured it become an outstanding community for residents to live, grow, and thrive.
We have provided planning and design expertise through conceptual and schematic designs, and supplied preliminary platting and agency coordination efforts through the City of Houston and Harris County. Every Master Planned Community is unique and has its own set of challenges, and Elyson is no exception. Through our creative problem solving and collaborative coordination with the development team, city, and county, we have worked to create opportunities out of hurdles.
Our designs have provided Elyson with numerous parks and amenity spaces throughout the community, including miles of walking trails along its lakes and channels, allowing residents to foster an active lifestyle and to easily connect with one another. Elyson continues to rank among the top-50 best-selling Master Planned Communities in the country, and will proceed to thrive and grow as new amenity centers and parks are continually added, including many new commercial opportunities.
